Join us at the  International Workshop for Women in Optimization!

The first workshop for women in optimization, Women Optimize in the West (WOW), will be held June 13 from 9:00 am till 4:30 pm (optimization) and June 14 from 1:00 to 4:00 (leadership and career opportunities) at the University of Calgary. This event is co-located with Optimization Summer School, providing the participants with a unique opportunity to attend both events. WOW provides an excellent opportunity for graduate students to gain experience in the cutting edge research, present their work, and gain experience in academic life and leadership. This event is for both students who are working in mathematics and science  or in other fields such as engineering but have applications in optimization.

The event includes:

-Keynote speeches,
-Research talks on application of optimization
-Student Poster sessions

June 14:
-Leadership and career workshop
