Topic:

Two Models for Indirectly Transmitted Diseases

Description:

Abstract

Cholera is still prevalent in some parts of the world and its dynamics
are not fully understood.  I will present two models which incorporate
the idea of a minimum infectious dose into the transmission term. The
second model also includes the role of bacteriophage, which consume the
bacteria that causes cholera.
