WCOM Fall 25: West Coast Optimization Meeting
Details
The West Coast Optimization Meeting will take place on October 18, 2025 on the Okanagan Campus of the University of British Columbia. The organizers (Aleksandr Aravkin Warren Hare, Tim Hoheisel, Yves Lucet, and Amy Wiebe) are pleased to invite all interested participants. Please note that registration is required (details below).
Schedule & Speaker Abstracts:
A light breakfast (pasties, coffee, tea) will be available from about 8:15 and opening remarks will begin at 8:50. Closing remarks will end about 4:10.
Talks take place in SCI 333 and breaks in SCI 331 (both 3rd floor of the Science building, located here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/sFgxGCcUvZeiwaCC9. The easiest entrance is the south corner, but any entrance works fine.

If you are interested in attending please send an email to yves.lucet@ubc.ca with your name, affiliation, home page url, and stating whether you plan to attend the social event. While there is no fee for the event, registration is required. Please registration by Sunday October 12 midnight Vancouver time.
