Sheaves and their Realization: The goal of this talk is to describe the sheaf model for the infinite loop space of the Thom spectrum. Since the main theorem of Galatius, Madsen, Tillmann, Weiss is that this sheaf model is homotopy equivalent to the classifying space of the cobordism category understanding this sheaf model is an important step in proving the Mumford conjecture.
