Ehrhart analogue of the h-polynomial

In this talk I will explain how the Ehrhart problem of counting lattice points in a polyhedron is equivalent to a problem in orbifold cohomology. This equivalence can be used to prove a conjecture of Stanley that relates the Ehrhart generating polynomial to toric h-polynomials.
