Question and Answer Session

A rare event for students (undergraduate and graduate) to meet two of the most acclaimed mathematical scientists of our time. PIMS invites you to attend a special informal question & answer session with these speakers after their lectures, to be chaired by Jonathan Jedwab at 4.30pm in the IRMACS Theatre, SFU. You will be able to ask questions about the speakers' research, their professional lives, scientific careers in general, and other issues on which you would like their opinion. This session is exclusively for graduate and undergraduate students. You don't want to miss this rare opportunity to interact with two academic leaders (and it's entirely optional whether you attend the preceding public lectures). There will be a reception in IRMACS following the question & answer session where you can chat with the speakers individually. If you are feeling shy about posing your question in public, or would like to ensure there is time for your question to be considered, I encourage you to email me your question right now and it will be read out anonymously by the chair. Of course, you are also welcome to pose questions on the day as they occur to you.
