Topic:

We will discuss a method for producing asymptotic estimates for the
number of integer polynomials of degree N with bounded (but large)
Mahler's measure. This method also produces a closed form for averages
of class functions over ensembles of asymmetric random matrices. In
this talk I will explain why this is important, and its potential for
resolving some open problems surrounding certain ensembles of random
matrices.
