# Graph Complexes, Configuration Spaces and Manifold Calculus

The possible positions of an object may be parametrized by manifolds. If we consider several non-colliding objects, then we should use configuration spaces on manifolds. Manifold calculus is a technique for analyzing manifolds. Calculation is difficult on manifolds, since they are innately continuous objects. On the other hand, the graphs in question are finite discrete objects, well suited to computation. We will bring together the world experts on these topics in order to build on recent advances in applying graph complexes to configuration spaces and manifold calculus, with a view to determining the most fruitful future directions of research.
