Topic:

Linear combinations of zeros of L-functions

Description:

The linear independence conjecture asserts that the multisetof positive ordinates of the zeros of automorphic L-functions is linearlyindependent over the eld of rational numbers. This deep conjectureimplies that if 1=2 + i  is a zero of the Riemann zeta function, then1=2 + 2i  is a not a zero of the zeta function. I will show that onthe Riemann hypothesis this is true in nitely often. I will also discussvariants of this phe
