Numerical Methods for Incompressible Fluid Flow
- Start Date: 07/14/2011
- End Date: 07/16/2011
University of British Columbia
Topics of interest include:
- theoretical and numerical analysis aspects of novel finite element or finite volume discretizations
- adaptivity
- new preconditioning techniques for linear/nonlinear systems
- non-conforming methods
- new stabilization strategies.
This workshop will bring together a select group of researchers in the area of numerical methods for partial differential equations. Particular emphasis will be given to incompressible and quasi-incompressible flow problems in the context of advanced applications.
