Divisional Dean of Natural Sciences & Professor of Mathematics, University of Washington
Daniel Pollack is Divisional Dean of Natural Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Washington, where he oversees departments and programs in the division, supports their teaching and research missions, and leads on personnel matters. He is part of the College’s executive leadership team and represents the division in university-wide and community initiatives. A professor of mathematics, Pollack's research focuses on differential geometry, mathematical general relativity, and partial differential equations. He earned his Ph.D. from Stanford and joined UW in 1996 after faculty positions at UT Austin and the University of Chicago.
