The Prairie Discrete Mathematics Workshop (PDMW) is an (approximately) annual series of meetings that has taken place in Western Canada since 2002. The idea is to bring together researchers in discrete and combinatorial mathematics from the Prairie region. Students and postdoctoral fellows are particularly welcome to attend. This year, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors PIMS and the University of Regina, we have some limited funds available to support visiting students and help defray their expenses. This year, we have reduced the number of invited speakers to allow participants to give contributed talks. Students and postdocs are especially encouraged to do so! Also this year, the PDMW is taking place back-to-back with another conference: Graphs, Designs and Algebraic Combinatorics. This is taking place on 18–21 July 2011. Why not attend both events? You can download a colour poster for the workshop here. |
