Topic:

Mathematical Modeling of Cholera Epidemics

Description:

Cholera is a severe water-borne disease caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae. In this talk, I will present some recent development of cholera epidemics. Particularly, I will talk about endemic stability, cholera traveling waves and disease threshold dynamics by using ODE and PDE models.
