Description:

The Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference is a national academic conference for undergraduate students studying mathematics or related fields. The largest conference of its kind in Canada, the CUMC offers an inclusive environment with emphasis on values of bilingualism, regional diversity, and non-competitiveness. This year’s conference, at the University of Alberta, aims to encourage both academic and professional growth, by offering peer-review of student talks and abstracts, and by highlighting possible career paths for mathematics graduates through an exploration of math's applicability. This iteration of CUMC will also focus on fostering conversation on current issues in mathematics and mathematics education.
