Topic:

Compactness and stability of some nonlinear elliptic equations: glueing of a peak on a static profile

Description:

In this talk, I will review a few issues and results on compactness of equations of scalar curvature type. In particular, I will focus on the difficulty of the degeneracy of the kernel of the solutions to such equations. Thsi is joint work with Jérôme Vétois (Nice).
