Accommodation Information

As has been the case in previous years, Math Challengers BC is not providing any travel funding to schools from outlying regions coming to the Provincials, so you will need to fundraise locally. Possible sources of support would be your local school boards, engineering firms, community service groups, etc. Contact your local branch of APEGBC for assistance in fund raising.

The branches link on the APEGBC header http://www.apeg.bc.ca   will give you some ideas.

Information for Participants who do not live in the Vancouver area.

For those of you who are coming from outside the Lower Mainland and planning to stay overnight, you should book your accommodations in Vancouver as soon as possible, if you have not already done so. The best bet is probably the YMCA or YWCA, as both are downtown, close to attractions/entertainment, both are relatively inexpensive, both have good (shared) accommodation, and both have fitness facilities which may be used free of charge by guests.

Billeting

The Math Challengers BC Executive is willing to help arrange billeting teams with other schools if there is any interest.
