The Victoria Math Circle is a venue for talented High School students to come together and work on some fun math problems as an enrichment activity.
We will work mainly in groups on high school math competition problems. There may also be brief lectures from faculty at UVic.
I would be very grateful if you could let me know of any suitable students that you may have. If you could send me their email addresses or ask them to contact me direct, that would be ideal.
If in doubt, please ask me.
We will meet on the UVic campus every second Wednesday from 4-6 pm starting January 30th.
PIZZA WILL BE SERVED!!!
The exact location is TBA and will change when the mathematics department moves into its new location in February.
Thanks for your support in promoting this activity to your students
